Job Description

We currently have an exciting full-time opportunity for a passionate Supply Chain Planning Manager looking to get stuck into a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The role will need to influence the wider JDE team by analysing data and identifying opportunities to develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with the organisation’s strategic goals and objectives. This role covers both Demand and Supply aspects of planning from overseas and local manufacturing sites.

Our Supply Chain Planning Manager will be responsible for our key supply channels and optimising our demand forecasting and planning department ensuing accurate and precisely managed IBP processes. This role plays a pivotal role in ensuring collaboration across Sales, Marketing and Production teams to align demand forecasts with inventory and production schedules. The role works alongside the Operations, Logistics, Customer Service teams to continuously assess and optimise processes, bringing best practice and learnings from external factors.

Leading a team of two SC Planning Specialists the SC Planning Manager will mentor and develop the team to foster a high-performance culture.

Qualifications

To be the best, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • At least 5 years proven experience in Supply Chain Planning and Management
  • Previous experience managing a small team
  • Strong understanding of Supply Chain processes, demand forecasting, supply planning and inventory management
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proficient in SC Planning software and ERP systems (SAP APO an advantage)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a wide range of stakeholders
  • A creative thinker with a strong attention to detail and customer service focus
  • Valid unrestricted work visa
